As the divine breath, Ik' is fundamentally linked to communication, the mind, ideas, and the unseen energies that shape our reality. It is the power of speech, song, and the very air we breathe.
 
According to the Maya, the Ik' is the spirit that is responsible for infusing life into Earth.
